"I've always been in this line of work - as a creative - from the very beginning.
I started out in full-service ad agencies in Europe [I grew up in Frankfurt, Germany] and worked my way up
to the position of Art Director, being responsible for the agency's clients in different industries + markets.
After 5 years of working as a creative, I accepted an offer as CD for a new company in Atlanta in the US.
With that career move, I switched from the agency side to the client side,
leading the internal creative services departments of organizations as Creative Director.
For 6 years, I was leading the centralized creative department of CL Media, which was then
the 2nd largest media company in the US of alt newsweekly entertainment publications,
with 6 online + print publications in Atlanta, Chicago, DC, Charlotte, Tampa, Sarasota.
Being responsible for the strategic creative of the media group,
I was building, developing, and mentoring the creative team and interfaced with the company leadership
and managers at all levels of the organization on a daily basis.
Serving as the in-house ad agency, my team and I serviced all
creative needs of the media group and its clients in online + print.
I was responsible for creative strategy development, design, and execution of all projects for
marketing / sales / editorial / promotions, leading cross-functional teams on company-wide initiatives.
Servicing client projects in online, mobile, print design for different industries since 2011,
I have been responsible for design + development of UX and UI, mobile sites, and branding projects.
With the necessary "50/50 approach" of left brain/right brain,
I offer the hands-on design + branding expertise paired with a deep understanding
of marketing strategy and project management."
